THE FRENCH KANT SOCIETY
Submission deadline for titles and abstracts (about 10 lines): April 15, 2015.
Inscriptions are accepted until May 15.
The French Kant Society, Société d’Études Kantiennes de Langue Française (SEKLF), invites submissions for its 12th international congress. This congress will take place at Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz, Germany, on September, 28th to October, 1st 2015.
The main subject is “L’année 1784: droit et philosophie de l’histoire”. Papers (in French and German) are welcome on any aspect of Kant’s philosophy of right, history, politics, moral and cultural progress, and theoretical foundation of ethics in general. The conference aims at stimulating fruitful exchanges between established scholars, young researchers, and PhD students. (A “séminaire scientifique” similar to summer schools for young researchers and PhD students will be offered as a part the conference. For more information about this seminar, please contact us.)
Presentation time will be 30 minutes + 20 minutes for discussion.
