NAKS Cheerful Philanthropist Fund

The NAKS Cheerful Philanthropist Fund was seeded by a most munificent donation of more than $40,000 by Norma Allison and Renee Nash in honor of their husband and father, Henry Allison.  The NAKS Society contributed an additional $5,000 from its reserve funds.

Additional generous donations were made during the Fall 2024 Cheerful Philanthropist Fund Drive by the following members of the North American Kant Society:

Andrew Chignell, Robert Louden, Paul Guyer, Eric Watkins, Pauline Kleingeld, Robert Clewis, Daniel Sutherland, Patricia Kitcher, Rachel Zuckert, Fred Rauscher, Camilla Serck-Hanssen, Karl Ameriks, Robert Howell, Katherine Areins, Steve Naragon, Pradeep Dhillon, Tsu-Kai Chu, Anja Jauernig, David Hills, Willem DeVries, Katherina Kraus, Suzette Sutherland, Tim Jankoviak, Richard Aquila, Alyssa Bernstein, Conrad Damstra, S.M. Love, Drew Witte, George Huxford, and Oliver Sensen

Thanks to all of the above for helping us raise more than $14,000 to add to the Allison family donation!

As stipulated by the NAKS Board of Trustees, The Cheerful Philanthropist Fund is invested in conservative financial instruments (e.g. CDs or Treasury Bonds) and only the interest on this principal is used to support NAKS operations and activities.  No changes to this stipulation can be made without approval of the Board of Trustees.

NAKS is a 501(c)(3).  All donations are tax-deductible.  Please consider donating today, by clicking here!
